Take a day tour from Plovdiv to the most bizarre building in Bulgaria! If you’re interested in dark tourism, the Buzludzha monument should be high on your list of places to visit.
You’ll take in the bleak grandeur of the mountain-top structure while your knowledgeable and fully licensed guide explains the building and its related history. The former “Monument House of the Bulgarian Communist Party” is a stunning example of futurist architecture as well as being a dark tourism hotspot…
But if you don’t think that your dark itch is going to be scratched by the monument alone, we can include the local abandoned houses, school and glass factory on your tour. All you need to do is let us know that’s what you’re into.

If this happens, your tour guide will stop the van at a safe place and you will continue walking together to the monument on foot.
